Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
3 Pound Chicken Cut into pieces almost 8 and remove the skin
3 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
1 1/2 Tablespoon Water
1 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Turmeric
1/2 Cup Yogurt Plain
3 ~ 4 Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
1 1/4 Teaspoons Coriander (cilantro)
3/4 Teaspoon ground cumin
1/8 Teaspoon Cayenne pepper
3 Tablespoon Cooking Oil

Grilled Tandoori Chicken

Use thighs piece and legs piece because they have enough fat to stay moist. We don’t recommend this with chicken breasts, they’ll dry out too easily.

Grilled Tandoori Chicken

Grilled Tandoori Chicken Consist of  a yogurt and spice paste with ginger, cumin, and coriander tastes good as if it were cooked in a traditional tandoor. This Tandoori chicken is called Grilled because its barbeque at grill. Lets start……….

Light the grill. Cut the chicken pieces at about 1/2-inch intervals. In a large Bowl combine the lemon juice, water, salt, and turmeric. Add the chicken pieces and turn to coat. Let the chicken pieces marinate for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the yogurt, garlic, ginger, coriander, cumin, and cayenne. Add to the chicken and lemon mixture; turn to coat. Let marinate for 10 minutes.

Now Grill the chicken over moderately high heat, basting with oil, for 10 minutes. Turn and cook, basting with the remaining oil, until just done, about 10 minutes longer for the breasts, 12 min for the thighs and drumsticks.

Grilled Tandoori Chicken is ready to eat. Serve with traditional "NAAN" and "Chutney". Enjoy :-)
