Tandoori Chicken

The best way to make tandoori chicken is to use thighs piece and legs piece because they have enough fat to stay moist. We don’t recommend this with chicken breasts, they’ll dry out too easily.

Tandoori Chicken

Tandoori Chicken as its name depicts to make chicken in bell-shaped “tandoor clay oven” also used to make “roti” and “naan” and used in Pakistan and India mostly. Chicken pieces are marinated in mixture of yogurt, lemon juice, and spices (Masala). Well here you don’t need a tandoor clay oven to make tandoori chicken. You can cook it in an cooking pot and put smoke of “Ember (Coal)”. So are you ready to make this spicy and delicious dish. Lets start……..

Place the Deep cuts on Chicken,

Now pure the chicken in the bowl.

Marinate it for 1 hr by adding salt, cumin powder, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, yogurt,

Now add 2-3 tbsp cooking oil in the cooking pot and fry the marinated chicken until golden brown.

Now pour all stuff in the cooking pot and put an "ember (Coal) on it as shown in image.

Now add 1 tsp cooking oil on ember and cover it for 1-2 minutes.
